AGM 2018 Summary
Dear members
Monday last week we met in Melbourne and Sydney for yet another ASOP’s AGM. It was a great session with some interesting feedback which we’ll action upon. A number of new individuals attended the meeting in both locations and enriched us with their experience and suggestions.

After initially formalities, the meeting minutes from last year’s AGM were accepted. Our president went to deliver his annual report followed for the first time by our treasurer. Marko spoke about our organisation’s first financial intakings and sponsorship. He also presented his strategy for the upcoming year. The Election of committee resulted in a new-old committee.

For the first time we officially welcomed our new working group members: Jelena Kis in Sydney and Tanja Andric in Melbourne. Congratulations to our female members, they are without a doubt a dominant force in ASOP and as a committee we are very proud of it!
It was also officially announced that ASOP will be joining forces with Sydney based organisation “Serbian Australian Professional Network – Sydney”. https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7021395
ASOP will continue existing as umbrella organisation. Over the coming months you can expect some communication in relation to this.
Our main focus for next year will be to grow our membership base and drive our members’ engagement. Of course we will also continue delivering quality content and implementation of our financial strategy.
